The Winners

Previous
  • Northwest Designer

    Region Northwest

    Name Michael Glaze

    Role Designer

Originally from the Midwest, Michael's home is in the Pacific Northwest. A longtime DEW drinker (and yes, coffee drinker too), Michael is a big music fan who loves hip-hop. He and his wife live in Spokane, where they are deeply involved in the artistic culture of the city and its down-to-earth values.

  • Northwest Name Winner

    Region Northwest

    Name Nancy Calvillo

    Role Name Winner

Nancy Calvillo lives in rural Roseburg, Oregon, and is part of a very large family—six children, all girls! She loves animals and even owns a few, and is also a gardener specializing in vegetables and flowers. Even more importantly, she's a devoted DEW Labs member and avid Pongr player!

  • Southwest Designer

    Region Southwest

    Name Louis Csontos

    Role Designer

Graphic designer Louis Csontos has always called Southern California home. A traveler who's never afraid to try new and different things, Louis jumped at the opportunity to taste a new malt DEW—and give it a design for the Southwest region. In fact, his love for soda goes back to his youth, when he collected unique cans from all over the world.

  • Southwest Name Winner

    Region Southwest

    Name Helen Wallis

    Role Name Winner

Living high in the Mojave Desert, Helen Wallis holds her family dear and finds inspiration in all of them. A constant explorer, Helen spends her time among the outdoors, traveling to nearby ghost towns and camping out under the stars. Her hometown of Inyokern, California, is home to much mining history...perfect for naming Miners Malt!

  • Great Plains Designer

    Region Great Plains

    Name Jason Pederson

    Role Designer

Jason's love for DEW has lasted a lifetime, but it wasn't until the first time he saw the original Green Label Art series that design became a passion. These days, Jason spends his time "finding the thrill in the mundane," whether that means venturing into the outdoors or just hanging out with his friends.

  • Great Plains Name Winner

    Region Great Plains

    Name Chad Wickwire

    Role Name Winner

A resident of Bellevue, Nebraska, Chad Wickwire is a former military man with what he calls a very creative mind. A stay-at-home husband, Chad spends much of his time bringing that creativity to life—and the latest of his iterations was the name for brand new Great Plains Gold.

  • Great Lakes Designer

    Region Great Lakes

    Name Joseph Scorzo

    Role Designer

Joseph has lived his whole life on Chicago's South Side and holds the city dear. A graduate of the DeVry Graphic Design program, he's devoting his career to creating beautiful work—and Rusted Malt is a great place to start! When he's not designing, he loves to explore Chicago with his wife, the girl of his dreams.

  • Great Lakes Name Winner

    Region Great Lakes

    Name Rich Arkenberg

    Role Name Winner

A native of the Chicagoland area with deep roots in the Great Lakes region, Rich Arkenberg is a family man with a wife and two sons. He loves movies, music, playing Xbox with his boys, exploring the great outdoors and playing fantasy football. One of his biggest passions is DEW...something he's been drinking since college.

  • South Designer

    Region South

    Name Larry Nelson

    Role Designer

A self-proclaimed "laid back guy," Larry Nelson has lived in a small Georgia town by the name of Thomson all his life. And while many would suspect a strong background in art, it’s natural talent that precedes this amateur designer. In fact, Larry's only art education took place in high school...pretty impressive if you ask us!

  • South Name Winner

    Region South

    Name Erik Owens

    Role Name Winner

A native of Miami, Florida, Erik now calls Georgia his home but has lived all over the South. A member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard and civilian contractor on an air force base, he continues to have deep pride for his country—and his four children continue to be the most important part of his life.

  • Northeast Designer

    Region Northeast

    Name Amanda Dean

    Role Designer

Though she lives in the Great Plains region, Amanda always knew she was going to design for the Northeast. A DEW fan for life, she's incredibly passionate about the brand and loves to drink it while doing everything from gaming and designing to crocheting plush dolls and making origami. She even cooks with DEW!
